Why HDG is Sustainable

Galvanizing = Lasting Steel

Hot dip galvanizing delivers one of the lowest lifecycle environmental footprints of any corrosion protection method. A galvanized steel structure can last 50–75 years in typical atmospheric conditions — without repainting, without touch-ups, and without repeated material consumption.

Zinc is 100% recyclable without loss of properties. All zinc skimmings, ash, and dross from our plant are recovered and returned to the zinc supply chain. Steel at end-of-life is fully recyclable — zinc vaporises in the steel-making furnace and is captured from the flue dust.

Our commitment to sustainability is formalised through ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System certification by SBcert — continuously audited, measured, and improved.
